John 3:31-33

He who comes from above is greater than all. He who is from the earth belongs to the earth and speaks about earthly matters, but he who comes from heaven is above all.

I know that I am born again because of my focus. What preoccupied me before no longer holds any interest for me; my interests have changed totally.

Colossians 3:1

You have been raised to life with Christ, so set your hearts on things that are in heaven, where Christ sits on His throne at the right side of God. Keep your mind fixed on things there, not on things here on earth.

My former taste and drives have been completely reversed. See, I’ve lost my appetites for things that don’t matter to the Kingdom! My mind is fixed on pleasing my new King.

Philippians 3:7,8

But all things that I might count as profit, I now reckon as loss for Christ’s sake

I don’t seek my own interests — I no longer do. What drives me now is to see others discover the reality of Christ, and experience this peace that now floods my heart.

Verse 8 Not only those things; I reckon everything as complete loss for the sake of what is so much more valuable, the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord. For His sake, I have thrown everything away; I consider it all as mere garbage, so that I may gain Christ.

I don’t live for myself. My only interest now is to uphold the business of Him who saved me. Friends, I have a new boss.

Galatians 2:20

So that it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. This life that I live now, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave His life for me.

I don’t trust myself any longer. I’m not relying on my own efforts or works to give me standing before God. I’m counting on His mercy and grace. I’m fully persuaded of His love for I know that He’s above all.

Romans 8:38

For I am certain that nothing can separate us from His love: neither death nor life, neither angels nor other heavenly rulers nor powers, neither the present nor the future, 39 neither the world above nor the world below — there is nothing in all creation that will ever be able to separate us from the love of God which is ours through Christ Jesus our Lord.

These, dear friends, are some evidences of my new birth.

I’m fully satisfied with Jesus. Now come, taste, and see that God is good indeed!!!

Prayer Points.

My faith has found a resting place, not in the creeds and mantras of self effort and false religion.

Thank You Lord, for leading me on.

God bless you.
